Heller, etwas dumpf herber Beginn. Geringe Bitterkeit, moderat hopfig, zum Mittelteil frischer werdend. Süffig, ansteigende Herbe, die Bitterkeit steigt ebenfalls deutlich an. Pappig, langer Abgang. 9/8/9/9/7/9

Rosen Spezial, Fläschchen von Markgrafen, Triptis. - Für ein Spezial mit bloß 4,9 Umdrehungen reichlich dünn. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase leichte Zitronenschale, Vanille, dezente zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk schlank hellmalzig mit milder Zitronenschale. Zarte helle Malzsüße, etwas Vanillin. Erst allmählich setzt eine pilstypische, krautige Hopfenherbe ein. Milder rezent, schlank. Im Abgang nicht zu knappe krautige Bittere. - Ein Spezial ist das nun nicht, lediglich ein handelsübliches Pilsner, immerhin schön schlank und herb. (13.9.2019.)

(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Strawy pale malt character with shy traces of biscuits and a tinge of spicy hops. Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Plain strawy malty taste with chalky notes and herbal hoppy spice in the background; bitter-sweet strawy and slightly herbal hoppy finish. Mediocre. 26.VIII.13

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, sour malt notes, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090915]
