Aroma is moderate malty, smoke, rubber - smoke, roasted chestnuts. Flavor is moderate sweet to light light heavy with a long smoked duration. Bottle, 7%. Salami smoke aroma. Muddy brown orange colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite smoky. Again a bit like salami, quite good, but also a bit one-dimensional.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Dry smoked and malty aroma. Leathery/beechwood aroma. Dry and leathery flavoured with a distinct smoke note from back of the nose. Ends dry and smoked. Simple smoked, juniper may give some citric touch.

Good off-white head, fed by lively carbonation, fully persistent; lighter orange-yellow beer. Smoked nose, fine beechwood smoke, bit phenolic. Phenolic taste, smoked wood, some restsweetness, sulphur. So carbonated it is fizzy; body is thinned out. Smokiness is willed, of course, but a bit too phenolic. Juniper is not obvious.
