Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 29.04.15. Daek orange. Foamy and persistent beige head and lacing. Heavy American IPA aroma, with grapefruit, lime and pine needles. Similar taste, balanced by caramel and malt sweetness.

Bottle. It’s a lightly hazy dark golden beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. It’s piney and resiny on the nose, with citrus peel and a malty touch. Some hayish, pale malty notes. It’s quite bitter on the palate, with citrus peel, resins and grapefruit. It’s full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated, with a lasting bitter and hoppy finish. If this really is gluten free, I know I could survive gluten intolerance. 150411

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy, dark reddish amber color with a huge, creamy , beige head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with pine needles, grapefruit, grass and some citrus. Some bread and caramel in the background. The flavor is filled with grassy hops, pine, bread and hints of dark berries. Has a slick mouth feel, and a heavy bitterness. A quite tasteful and rich IPA, but the bitterness is very dominant and makes it a bit unbalanced.
