Bottle, as Prösslbräu Adlersberg Bayerisch Dunkel, shared by fonefan. It’s a slightly hazy, amber beer topped by a beige head. Bready nose with a good dash of caramel. The flavor is pretty much the same, bread and caramel, with some bitterness. Medium to full body, dry. Bready finish with some bitterness. Maybe a bit too bready overall, making the beer seem unbalanced. A decent one though. 090821

Bottle, 4.7%. Clear dark brown colour. The flavour starts off nicely roasted. Turns a little sourish in the finish, and has a little stable to it.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Comes as "Prösslbräu Adlersberg Bayerisch Dunkel". Pours a clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Sweetish roasted malt and a little ashes in the nose. Medium body, roasted malt and pumpernickel with a lightly bitter finish. Nice one. 210809

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-coloured hue with a massive beige foamy head. Sweet, toast-malty nose with caramel, cacao and bread-crust impressions, backed with a tinge of herbal hops. Sweet flavour, toasted malt-character with caramel and light notes of chocolate/cacao; light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation; sweet, slightly bitter finish with a moderate length. Well-balanced, tasty Dunkel.
