Schwendl Weissbier Bock. Hazy brown colour, creamy white foam. Nose of banana, citrus, ripe fruit. Sweet and edtery with fruity hints and light hoppy finish. Nice Weizenbock!

Wunderbar weich, angenehme Konsistenz.

Really nice weizen bock. Better than the ratings. Lime, sweet tobacco. Florals. Pretty what I need from a weizen bock. Reddish pour with ok head. Light sweet finish. Pretty drinkable. Bottle from Churchkey delivery.

500ml Bottle - Hazy brown with some orange tinges. Banana, spice and hints of Christmas cake in the aroma. Fruity, malty, sweetish and rich taste with cloves, Christmas cake, raisins and banana. Quite nice but a bit rich and sweet to properly enjoy.

Brown with a thin, frothy head. Aroma of cooked bananas, caramel. A hint of fudge. Taste has the expected Dunkelweizen features: sweet with bananas and yeasty dark bread. A touch of tartness at the finish, which is also a touch watery. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Not bad. Middle of the road sort of thing.

Spritzig rezent, vollmundig, wärmend alkoholisch; Anklänge an Klosterlikör.

Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy copper with a creamy white head. Aroma of light caramel and perhaps banana. Med minus body. Flavor is wheat/caramel (light) with some banana after a moment. Flavors aren’t strong, but it’s a decent drink. Not bitter, but not too far from dry.

500 ml. bottle. Best by 4/9/16. It pours a relatively clear brown color with a tall off white head that shrinks in about a minute. The aroma has some toasted malt, banana, raisin, fig, bread and some clove. The rich breadiness is a nice complement to the fruity fermentation esters. The flavor is melanoiden rich with some baked bread, molasses, raisin, banana and clove. Pretty phenolic and estery, but the body is reasonably light and well carbonated. A potent cocktail of dark maltiness and estery yeast activity. Maybe a hint of DMS with some cooked vegetables in the finish. Overall, decent but not a repeat purchase.
