# 4194; 4/2024. Grainy, spicy and floral aroma. Brilliant gold body; white head quickly disappeared. Malty, grainy, hoppy spicy, light vegetable, slightly harsh bitter finish. Worse German Pilsner. 0,5 l, bottle, Getränkemarket, Tübingen (Swabia, Germany).

Stuttgarter Hofbräu Pilsner, Flasche von REWE, Mergentheim. - Goldgelb, blank filtriert. - In der Nase mild süßliches, etwas mattes helles Malz und nur zarte, blasse Hopfenherbe, wenig pilstypisch. - Antrunk weich und rund hellmalzig aber etwas leer. Die Hopfenherbe hält sich mit matter Zitrusfrucht sehr im Hintergrund. Milder rezent, nicht so schlank wie ein klassisches Pils. Im Abgang leicht trocken und hintergründig herb aber ohne ausgeprägte Hopfenaromen. - Sehr gedämpftes Pilsener, gar nicht unangenehm, da ohne die derbe Härte vieler Industriepilsener, aber etwas zu weich und malzbetont. Dennoch mehr als trinkbar.

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with mild hoppy touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of yeast and malt. Estery aftertaste with hoppy notes. Well, a standard German macro pilsener. Drinkable. Mot that bad.
