Goldgelb leuchtend, mit würzig-frischem Geschmack und einer lebendigen Hopfennote. Unser feiner Klassiker.

bottle. Clear golden yellow, mid-sized head. Malty and hoppy, a bit thin, not overwhelmingly full-flavoured. There is a fruity hint present, slightly sourish. Has its own character.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Flavor a little bit dry, modest malty, well balanced finish. Good beer!

330ml bottle at Cafe Nescafé on the Calwer passage in Stuttgart. Bright yellow. Creamy foam. Lack of aroma, perhaps a slight touch of hops. Bitter palate and finish. Unusual dose of bitterness for this kind of beer. More than an average light lager (21.04.2006).

(Bottle 50 cl) Neatly pilsener golden with a small, fine head. Rather neutral with a slight dominance of sweet malt. The hops are vague and subdued. A pleasant all right pilsener, but not the most characterful. 150203

Aroma subtle - hops, grain but a bit sour. Ligher flavor with moderate bitterness. Had this in a can. Probably tastes much better in a nice big mug while sitting in a beer tent during Oktoberfest.
