Pale yellow color, small steady white head. Mostly grainy, slightly herbal-grassy nose. Light palate. A bit buttery, hoppy flavor. Sweetish malty backbone. Light bitterness in the aftertaste. Nose is not so good, but flavorwise this is a decent German pils.

Bottle 25 cl from friend in Holland, consumed in Göteborg (Swe) 2010-01-15 AR: sticky carbonation, hops AP: golden yellow (standard pilzner), 1 cm white head - totaly diminishing F: water, hops, wee sweetness - the flavour remains even do it was very wage

Bottle 50cl.Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, cardboard. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090724]

Bottle 50 cl. Clear, pale yellow with a white head. Clean and malty nose. Medium-bodied with a good malt base and a little flowery hops. Lightly bitter finish with a whiff of sulphur. 240709

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma crisp cornish and hoppy aroma. Crisp malty and hoppy flavoured. Nice malty and hoppy flavoured finish.

Draught at BBF07. Clear, shiny golden colour. Nice stable white head. The flavour is refreshingly citric with a hint of aroma hops, slightly spicy. Pointy bitterness.

Bottle (courtesy of EithCubes!): Golden, small fluffy head, slowly diminishing; clear sweet-malty and grassy hoppy nose; moderate dryish bitter flavour, light bodied; light to medium bitter and quite dry lingering finish. A quite decent Pils.....

(bottle, thanks to EithCubes !) Clear, pale golden colour with a bubbling foamy white medium-sized head. Soft sweet malty nose with notes of cereals and herbal hops. Soft bittersweet flavour, light to medium body, ok carbonation. Slightly papery malty taste with a light bitter and hoppy finish with a tinge of metal.

Die Brauerei ist anscheined stolz, eine regionale zu sein und will nicht Deutschlandweit verbreitet werden, so lese ich auf jeden fall den Hinweis auf der Rückseite, der bei Bieren wie Bekcs wohl nicht stehen könnte:"[...]denn ihr Zwickauer Pilsener wird ganz in ihrer Nähe[...]gebraut". Frisch, grasig und hopfig riehct das Bier, das ein wenig trüb im Glas liegt. Der hopfige Antrunk wird schnell von einem bitteren Aroma überholt, welches im Mittelteil und in Teilen den Nachgeschmack dominiert. Eine feine Würze kommt im Nachgeschmack dazu.
