Draft glass @ “Italian Beer Week-end #6 - Ranzani 13 Édition” CML Fontainas. Dark brown, uneven deep mocha head. Nose is artificial hazelnut, sweet, Nutella. Taste is artificial hazelnut, lactose, marzipan, Nutella. Body feels artificial, big cacao. Nice beer but felt a bit too artificial too me in its profile.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Dark brown beer. Lovely liquidised praline chocolate flavour. Lighter in mouth than expected. More beery than expected. Like cold hot chocolate. Good though. Cheered me up no end.

BXLBeerfest. Pours dark brown. Aroma is massive hazelnuts, roast, sweetness, chocolate. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, oats, chocolate, nuts. Finish is chocolate bitter with nuts. Overall: very good.

Tap at BXL festival. Clear very dark brown with beige head. Massive Nutella, sweet malts, slight licorice, sweet malts, dry green leaves. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel and slight watery finish.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is hazelnut caramelish to toffee. Nutty. Roasted malt. Kild bitter. Subdued sweetness. Toasted, bitter and slight roasted into a medium dry finish.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours black with light brown foam, very fine. Aroma is intense of hazelnut cream and cocoa, maybe a little too concentrated. Body is light, with some tickling carbonation. Taste is toasted, partially recalling again hazelnut, some sweetness, a hint of bitterness. Finish is of average length, with some rosee bitterness sticking around.
