Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle. Smooth malty beginning. Easy to drink, caramel, malt. Fruity caramel, roasted grain and a nice subtle bitterness. Hints of sweetness in the back. Easy to drink, round and refreshing.

0,5 bottle. Színében semmi kivetnivaló, a habja is szép, tapad a pohárra, szép barnasör kinézet, címke is jellegzetes.
***
There is nothing objectionable in its color, its foam is also beautiful, it sticks to the glass, it has a nice brown beer look and a label. Restrained scent, perhaps best felt with a slight hops, and in the background only the scorched malt notes. Taste: weakly carbonated, easy to drink, a little watery for me. There is no special character, a little of everything: hops in the background, a little caramel, a little malt, sweetness. In the aftertaste, basic lager flavor is already coming, because of the hops. Not bad, but I expected better.

Bottle, 0.33l. Sampled as Žatec Dark. Deep ruby pour with minimal white head, vanishing instantly. No lacing whatsoever. Smell of iron and toffee with herbal touch to it. Caramel takes over as it clears up. Thin to medium body. Carbonation is average but prickly on the tongue. A bit watery texture. Bittersweet. Aroma is grainy and malty, a bit of caramel, slightly herbal. Faint corn. Somewhat peppery, slight metal in the aftertaste. Not complex, quite simple but executed fairly well. Finish is a bit dry and slightly bitter. Overall, ok. Drinkable, yes, but quite an unimaginative effort.

330ml bottle kindly shared by Per Pippin. A bubbly fawn-coloured head over a clear dark ruby coloured body. Scattered lacing. Roasted bread on the nose, semi-sweet. Taste of brown malts, moderately roasted. Backdrop of herbal hops, mid-sweet. Medium bodied. Quite alright (Shared with friends at Prestvika, Sommarøya 02.09.2016).
