Das Brauen eines feinen Pilsbieres war in Bayern zu früheren Zeiten nicht möglich, da das Brauwasser zu hart war.
Erst die verschiedenen Verfahren zur Wasserenthärtung schufen die Möglichkeit, ein Pils im Voralpenland zu brauen.
Die Schaumkrone auf dem Pilsglas lädt ein, die gelungene Balance zwischen feinherber Frische und milder Würze zu genießen. Das hopfenaromatische Finale, hervorgerufen durch feinsten Aromahopfen aus Tettnang am Bodensee, macht bereits Lust auf den nächsten Schluck.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with steady carbonation and a snow white head. Nose - green beans and corn. Bready. Taste - vegetable oil, sweetcorn, lemon and bready. Palate - light bodied, dry, and fairly bitter finish. Overall - more pils on the nose, but generally a good example of the style.

Bottle online from Beer Merchants. Pours a clear light golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of sweet grains, doughy white bread, a touch of grass and slightly medicinal. Taste is malty with more sweet grains, bread and fresh light grassy notes on a smooth finish. Medium to full body, low carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. Decent.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, getreidig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig, grasig, lang anhaltende Bitterkeit.

Bottle, from trade with fonefan. A clear, golden beer with a small, dense, white head leaving some lacings. The aroma has a pleasant grassy, slightly piney hoppyness, as well as a pleasant maltyness. Pleasant bitterness towards the end, with some malty sweetness and a fruityness at first. Medium body, quite dry. A pleasant and tasteful beer that would go down easily on a hot summer day or when slightly thirsty. 110421
