Test vom 29.7.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,13,12,12,12,12 - 12,15

bottle from Bierzwerg. Cloudy, alsmost brown amber colour, fluffy off-white head. Wheaty and malty with shy hints of roasted malts, shy fruity hints. Almost a Dunkelweizen.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty-yeasty, not too dry. Fine fruity like apricot and peaches. Modest sweet. Well balanced finish and quite drinkable. Really nice!

50 cl bottle from BZ. BB 30/12/13. Deep dolden/amber with a thick white head. Wheaty, yeasty aroma, quite simple. Flavor has banana, wheat and yeast. Short finish. Simple and easy. Quite dark for a trad. weizen, more like a dunkelweizen.

Bottle. Sweet banana/orange, toffee malt and clove aroma. Cloudy brown yellow color with small head. Sweet toffee malt, banana and moderate bitter clove flavor. Nice body. Good beer - on the spicy side.

Bottle. It’s a quite hazy, dark golden beer with a fine-looking white head. Qutie weak on the nose, with more toffee than expected. Banana and cloves too. Well-carbonated, medium body. Maybe a bit too carbonated. Toffee up front, with banana and cloves coming after a little while. Some sweetness. Banana, toffee and cloves in the finish. A decent beer, a bit weak on the nose and flavor, but quite tasteful. A blend of dunkelweizen and hefe. (090807)

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Deep orangeish golden colour with big off-white fluffy head. Aroma is dishwater, some citrusfruits as well as wheat. Flavour is wheat, some citrusfruits and also mild yeastyness. Biting carbonation. Like a dunkelweizen meeting weizen hell.
