Small if persistent, just off-white head over fully hazy orangey beer. Oranges, clove, wheat, estery. Oranges, lemon if not really sour. Bit meaty esters. Lots of clove, especially in the finish. Good carbonation, wheatslick, medium bodied. Average Weisse, whilst I used to love the Dunkel from Lohrer. I hate this obfuscation. Where is this brewed, in Lohr am Main, or in Würzburg? Please be a bit frank! Txs to Stef!

0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before June 2025. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity-floral aroma of grains, banana, clove and some pear. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and moderately fruity-floral taste of grains, banana, clove, some honey and a touch of pear, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit chalky finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very decent Weizen, ticks off all the boxes.

Appearance: hazy deep yellow with a a good foam. Aroma: Overripe banana, berry whieat bread, spicy yeast, some hop. Taste: Medium dry. Wheat bread,rich banana, clove, grassy hop. Hoppy aftertaste. Mouth feel: Medium body, Average carbonation. Summary: Balanced stuff.
