Dark golden, hazy, quite big head, ok retention, scarce lacing. In the aroma: strong banana, slight fruitiness and dough. Taste shows pretty dense yeastiness (it even gets slightly earthy/musty), banana and a hint of clove. Not as refreshing as most weizens. Light to medium body, average per style carbonation, slightly creamy. Mediocre

Draught @ Brauhaus am Markt, Schweinfurt. Pours cloudy lightish amber with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of banana and touches of grain. Sweetish flavour of malt, banana and yeast, with grainy and hoppy touches. Estery and acidic aftertaste. Drinkable but rather anonymous.

Pours cloudy orange gold with a white crown. The aroma is subdued, and marked by banana, wheat, and a touch of spice. Taste is dry, lightly sour with relatively little sweeness. Body trends thin. Okay.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, reife Bananen, leicht würzig.

Der Geruch ist sehr schön hefig-frisch und leicht bananig. Der Antrunk ist süffig-hefig und schön süffig. Im Hauptteil tritt eine schön säuerliche Hefenote zu Tage, die eigentlich ein ideales Weizen versprechen würde.
Der Nachgeschmack allerdings mach dieses schöne, fast ideale Bild leider wieder kaputt - er ist ganz komisch muffig-herb. Schmeckt irgendwie chemisch. Vor allem bleibt diese komische Note noch relativ lange auf der Zunge erhalten und verdrängt ziemlich schnell die restlichen Hefearomen.
--> Würde man den Abgang streichen, wäre es ein ideales Weizen. Mit diesem penetrant-muffigen Nachgeschmack ist es nicht annähernd so gut!

0.5l bottle. Slightly hazy orange body, white head. The aroma is pretty earthy, it also has some cloves and banana notes. Taste is similar to the aroma. Although it’s still earthy, it has more banana than the aroma suggests. Nice weizen.
