Bottle shared at the Cafe Abseits tasting during the Post Christmas Bamberg Jolly - January 2014. Pours mostly clear brown with a creamy, tan topping. Meh, not the best but OK. Rich coffee, lightly tangy dark malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Some dark fruits in the finish, fresh coffee. So so.

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle shared at Cafe Abseits , 25/01/14. Dark mahogony brown with a moderate light beige covering that clears to a swirl. Nose is light roast, brown sugars, touch of coffee, cocoa powder, earthy. Taste comprises a bigger coffee hit than on the nose, dark toffee fudge, light cocoa, pinc of spice, roasty tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying closure. Decent enough coffee’d up offering.

Bottle from Abseits Café, Bamberg; bottled 09.12.2010, 2 months old
Mahogany color, clear; generous compact head. Aroma of old coffee, and traces of yeast. The body is weak and the mouthfeel is dry; there is a mediocre coffee flavor, too much similar to the coffee from vending machines, poor. Correct bitterness. Still some way to go.
