Bottled. A chestnut colored beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of malt and vegetables. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and vegetables, as well as a light note of coffee, leading to a boring and bitter finish.

Bottle 50cl. w. swing top.[ Courtesy of Beershine & Oakes ]. Clear dark dark brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, burnt, caramel, coffee, smoke notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20090704]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours a cloudy opaque dark brown with an orange hue and a dense and creamy light brown head leaving laces. Distinctly ashy and burned nose. Medium body, lightly sweet hard roasted malts, vanilla and bitter coffee. Rather malt bitter finish. 270609

Dark brown. The aroma is coffeeish and clean with a light malt backdrop. Sharp coffee taste is oversteeped and vegetal. The finish mellows slightly with toastiness. Decent for what it is, but I’m no fan of the style.

50 cL bottle, as Smoked Coffee. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Herbal/light spiced and roasted malt aroma. Sweet, roasted and coffee flavoured. Bitter and slowly diminishing sweetness. Spiced and herbal finish.

Bottled. Deep brown colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, caramel malts, some mild fruity/berryish notes as well, Flavour is ashes, coffee, some caramel malts and that’s about it. Yet very pleasant balance.
