Clear copper color, small white head. Bready, hayish-perfumic and nutty aroma. Light to medium bodied. Caramel with some salty nutty notes, breadyness and English-type hops. This is much better than the default value was. They have changed recipe or otherwise top raters have underrated because this is from Cerveceria Mexicana.

330ml bottle. Pours orange brown with a medium head. Aroma is cardboard, a little smokey and some caramel. Taste is sweet and has a little caramel to start and a bitter, fruity malt finish. Smokey aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Clear amber colour with small unstable white head. Aroma has slightly sweet caramel notes, toast, a subtle hop note. Taste has caramel malt, toasted, subtle sweetness, a bitter hop note comes in later. Solid work.

[Bottle at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe] Deep reddish amber with a large white head and a bit of fizz. Nice fresh, hoppy floral aroma with unfortunate undertones of boiled cabbage. Taste dominated by caramel and butter. Rather sweet. Got fed up with it by the end.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Bottle @ Cafe Siesta, Odense. Pours amber with a small off white head. Sickening sweet malty nose and flavor. Quite a lot of alcohol, bread and fruit. Medium bodied.

Bottle, 5.4%. Mild caramelly aroma. Quite clear amber colour. Good stable off-white head. The flavour starts off caramelly, gets a bit grainy after a while. The aftertaste is like old bread. Drinkable, but not exactly good.

21st May 2008. A clear brown ale with a slightly sour malt and a bitterish dry finish. There is something fundamentally wrong with this beer. It’s tired and somewhat offensive!

Caramel malt aroma with some grassy bark notes, not terribly strong. Clear dark amber, headless. Watery, but a decent amount of malt flavor. Light bitter grass finish. Surprisngly decent.
