Schenkt bruin met licht bruine kraag. Aroma van koffie, gebrande/geroosterde mouten, vanille, suiker. Smaken dun/waterig, enorm veel koffie, geroosterde/gebrande mout, matig zoet, zwak bitter, redelijk mondvullende co2, vanille, kaneel, iets droog, matige body, zacht maar iets teveel koffie.

Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, moderately lacing, dark beige head.
Smooth aroma of espresso, coffee beans, cinnamon, cocoa, some nuts, slight dark fruits.
Taste follows this, but a bit lighter, not fully as coffee-forward as the nose, with some more liquorice.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty, moderate bitter, a bit spicy, with a lot of coffee again, liquorice, slight tobacco.
Very nice. Smooth coffee-forward beer, especially the nose is really lovely, also with the cinnamon well integrated. Taste is a bit lighter, while still pretty good and well balanced. Overall not the very best coffee Stout/Porter I’ve had, but a really enjoyable one I would gladly drink again.

Tasting glass draft @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Black, little tanned. Nose is huge cold coffee, very big cold coffee, low herbal coffee. Taste is massive cold coffee, low umami, low biscuit, low herbal coffee, touch nuts. Basically decent cold coffee with low vegetable notes. Body is cold coffee & low iron. I didn’t get the cinnamon. Not bad at all as a cup of decent coffee.

Black with quick fading head. Strong aroma of heavily roasted coffee. Flavour is really dry and bitter. Lots of burnt malts. Something floral, herbal in the finish.

Negra, espuma ocre muy abundante y densa. Aroma a café, bastante intenso. Canela presente. Cambia en boca, donde adquiere un caracter más dulce y frutal, con un punto ácido, sin perder predominio de sabor a café en grano, sobre todo a medida que avanza el trago, donde aparece además la cadena. Diferente. Interesante.

On tap @Buskers Pub (Rome). Pours deep brown with a medium and persistent beige head. Aroma of mocha, grassy hops, nuts powder, cinnamon, light metallic note. Flavour is a bit unbalanced, medium sweet with a mocha note. Medium body, light carbonation. It could be refined.

At a tasting, small stable creamy head, dark brown color, strong aromatic coffee aroma, greenish and spicy mainly cinamon notes, roasted coffee flavor with a light spiciness and some green grass, light bodied but nicely balanced and really enjoyable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks troubles. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of somewhat vegetal coffee, some cinnamon, and roast. Sweetish flavor with coffee, cinnamon, caramel, roast. Medium-bodied.
