Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a offwhite head. Aroma of licorice, herbs, herbs, pepper and other spices. Taste is bitter sweet with grass, stray, bitter herbs, berries. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nice and drinkable, but nothing special. 190111

Big offwhite head. Deep red body. Tropical fruit, ash, and lacquer aroma with pinepple and spice notes. Dry-sweetish roasty pineapple and wood taste with herbal earthy notes. Sharpish, mealy mouthfeel. Fullish body. Dense and a bit cloying. Lacking in bitterness. Dryish herbal lacquer and wood aftertaste with pine needle and spice notes. Weird. Not really that successful. A riot of clashing tastes. (0.5l bottle, Fish and Beer, Copenhagen.)

Clear deep amber with a medium beige head. Aroma had roasted malt, caramel, spices and hoppy notes. Somewhat hoppy flavour with the typical WinterCoat house character barnyard, hops, juniper and roasted malt. Bitter finish.

Cask at Copenhagen Beerfestival. A hazy, dark golden beer with a nice, small, off-white head. Bready, toffee-ish nose with peachy fruityness. Slightly sugary. Sweet, peachy flavor with some bread and caramel. Pleasant bitterness in the background. A full-bodied, well-carbonated beer with a lasting finish with good bitterness. A nice and easy drinkable beer that goes down easlily. (090515)
