Having scheduled v18 into the production program some months ago, we knew we’d have to offer a big hitting hoppy beer, and we think we make some of the juiciest, cleanest, most impactful TIPAs in the land still, so here’s our latest effort! At this ABV hoppiness jumps out of the glass, and the experience on your palate is everything these big hoppy beers were meant to be. Refined over 8 years brewing at this strength, and at these hopping rates, we hope you enjoy every drop!

Can at home picked up from 73 Enid Street. A clouded golden orange coloured pour with a sticky loose white head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, big dank, sticky mango, tangerine, mixed citrus. Flavour is composed of smooth, creamy, oats, wheats, mango juice, tangerine, wallpaper paste. Palate is medium sweet, creamy, mellow carbonation, hides the alcohol pretty well. Good shit.

440ml can given to me as a gift. From Friends of Ham, Leeds I think. Pours light to mid-gold, hazy with a small film of white head. Aroma of sweet, sticky vanilla malt, booze-stewed apricots, honey, juicy papaya, mango. Sweet, boozy taste but well-balanced, intense hop that never overpowers. Lots of melon and mango here. Good bitterness in the finish. Thick body, medium carbonation. Special.

Sample at the brewery.
Dank, grassy, juicy. Moderately sweet, juicy, fruity, just a bit of booze. Finishes with a light bitterness. Pleasant.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent superfine carbonation. Soft pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Soft pine. Really good juicy stone fruits and mango led tropical fruits. Maybe Krush and Nectaron, who knows? As so often with Cloudwater, here is a big hoppy beer but, you don't need to know what the hops are do you? Finishes smooth with a little bitterness and a decent dollop of hop spice. Yeah very good TIPA just never going to be a big fan of this breweries attitude.

440ml can. Murky yellow, white head. Aroma of smoky bacon Frazzles, tropical fruits, papaya, mango. Taste is the same, super juicy tropical fruits, papaya, mango, peach, some smokey bacon Frazzles, pithy grapefruit. Nice balanced, not too sweet, booze well hidden. Full bodied, smooth. Great TIPA but despite not revealing the hops that smokey Riwaka is unmistakable.

Can from Eltham Wines. Nose is pineapple, sweetcorn, tangerine, peach & mango. Thick juicy flavours of tangerine, mango, pineapple, papaya, passionfruit, spot of grapefruit. Juicy & fruity with a light hoppy backnote. Great stuff.
