Draft at Oak & Steel in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is an opaque black brown with a 1 ½ inch foamy khaki head. The aroma is roast malt, soft mineral, and perhaps a hint of cream. The taste is traditional Dry Irish Stout, the roast, toast, soft sugar cane sweet and finishes dry with more roast and some mineral. The palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and the crisp dry mineral finish.

Pours dark brown with a dark beige head. Roasty aroma. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee notes. Bit of ash. Not bad.

Aromas are dark malt, roast with hints of cocoa and coffee. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose. Mildly sweet and balanced. Nice stout but not too dry.

Aroma has notes of dark bread, chocolate, Whoppers, caramel, vanilla, nuts. Taste has a lovely roasty malt sweetness backed by light to moderate hop bitterness. An excellent unadulterated straight stout. A rarity these days.
