6/6/2025. Cask at The 20th Braintree Real Ale Festival. Decent pour. Aroma is ashy, chocolate, roasted malt, hops. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Nice dry roasted finish. Likeable.

Thanks Simon! Creamy dry malty beginning. Easy to drink, moderate bitter, dry, creamy roasted. Soft dry malty with a great deep dry roasted back. Great.

Creamy off white head on a still black body. Liquorice, malt & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, lively dry & clean. Roasted, liquorice, burnt, malt & berry tastes with a tangy finish. Nice drop.

Cask @ Stafford Beer & Cider Festival. Small head with short duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, hops and has a sweet roasty finish.

Cask @ Stafford Beer & Cider Festival. Clear dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted moderate bitter finish. 280717
