Tap at Komachi. Very hazy, pale gold, pastel, low head. Typical. Nice nose, bursting with tropical fruits and citrus. Flavor is stupidly sweet and cloying, again, nice hop flavors, but why so sweet? Lactose, I suspect. Good hops, bad idea.

Can thanks to TimE. Pours a hazy orange hue with a large white head. A big tropical nose. Mango, pineapples, very much a hazy, lactose, certainly moves into the triple territory, bitter orange peel finish. Quite good.

I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather lately so wasn’t sure if I’d get around to doing a Tuesday Tasting. I got home after work and felt up to it so… WCB Endgame Magic TDH Triple Hazy IPA 9% Nice opaque straw gold color with dense long-lasting rocky eggshell white foam. It’s got a great hop bouquet featuring guava and mango. Full bodied with a bit of booziness. The taste makes me think of a tropical cocktail where someone went a bit heavy on the white rum. Fun stuff.
