Purple-black beer with no head. Rum, Bourbon, blackberries, sweet, molasses, cocos. Vanilla, nougat, chocolate, blackberries; orange filling for pralines , and tons of coconut. Sticky, full body, and an ultra-long aftertaste. Alcoholheat. Amazing, if extremely sweet, almost cloying. Big thanks to the anonymous provider and Dav!

Crowler from Beerdome. Thanks Will. Pours jet black with a small bubbly head. Coconut, syrup, Vanilla and coffee. Sweet. Tasty although a little less of everything would have done it better. 4.1.

On tap @Taplokaal Gist (2024 edition, 16% ABV!), coming from my dad's, I considered this worthy of a detour on my way home. Pours pitch black, oily, with no head. Aroma's: full on chocolate, some coconut, boozy, sweet, syruppy. Retronasal: boozy, bourbon, big chocolate, coconut, vanilla. Flavour is heavy sweet, chocolate, bourbon. Alcohol feel is hot, burning. Full bodied, this is truly a blubberdikke jetser. Long finish with remaining chocolatey sweetness, light bitterness. Nice, but 15 cl is really enough (also pricewise).

#vatgerijpt fucking duur maar extreem lekker. Nog wel een beetje te vers.

Draft at Festival Vatgerijpt Gist. Color: Black, no head. Aroma: Bourbon, dark chocolate, coconut, roasted malt. Taste: Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, (roasted) coconut, roasted malt, Bourbon notes, caramel, boozy. Warming mouthfeel. Full body, below average carbonation. Boozy chocolate and coconut finish. Bit sticky. Nice slow sipper, great last beer of Festival Vatgerijpt at Taplokaal Gist.

Intense, heavy and roasty with massive amounts of barrel, loads of vanilla beans, chocolate sauce, hints of coconut, cocoa and warming alcohol. Complex, super tasty and delicate slow sipper. Great.
