Onze Bock tikt dit jaar de 8,5% aan en is daarmee met recht een flinke jongen. Een moutig en donkere Bock met rijke tonen van chocola, toffee en karamel. Bockbier werd van oorsprong gebrouwen met de eerste zomergerst van het jaar. Een krachtig en verwarmend bier dat heerlijk wegdrinkt in de koudere dagen van het jaar.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dark malt with caramel, toffee, notes of chocolate and roast. Flavour is mild to medium sweet with a light bitterness in the finish. Above medium body. Good.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, auburn colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, minimally nutty, caramel and slightly chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of toffee, dark caramel. Taste is dark and caramel malty with some residual sweetness, mildly bitter hoppy counterpart, hints of dark caramel, some toffee, a touch of milk chocolate; a minimally warming, alcoholic touch in the finish, well hidden alcohol overall. Slightly creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, fairly rich - very nice.
