MBCC. Clear yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hop, citrus and a little grapefruit. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, little grapefruit, medium sweet and a little bitter.

16oz can pours a murky gold with some creamy white head. Nose is quite nice, some mango and guava, a little tropical fruit tums, grassy, straw, some orange. Flavor is nice too, grassy, gristy, some white flour, orange peel, grapefruit too, mango, papaya. Finishes chalky and lightly bitter.

16 oz. can. Purchased at Spruce Creek Provisions, Kittery. Lots of white head that stayed until the conclusion. Slightly hazy golden color. Aroma is galaxy hop in all its glory. Grass, grapefruit, and notes of cat pee.

The flavor does show the grapefruit, grass, and mild cat piss. The bitterness is pretty aggressive for an American Pale Ale , also shows me a thin body. (which seems to be the standard for Hobo). My biggest gripe is the mouthfeel. As it warms the bitterness is real assertive. I dont know maybe my palate is spoiled at this point. Overall, average but certainly not better than average.

Tap @MBCC2017, Red Session. Hazy pale yellow, white froth. Strong pine and grapefruit aroma. Juicy flavour, sweetish citrus, not much of the pine from the aroma.

Not full-on soup, but significantly hazy, with a deep golden-bronze color and medium-sized white head showing moderate retention.
Fruity and full of pineapple and nectarine in the nose with biscuity malts quickly adding character. There’s a unique spicy, almost woody note not usually seen in most NE IPAs as well as some strong sweaty, almost catty character that Lord Hobo beers tend to have. Not any real strong juiciness a la Trillium or Tree House with pine and grapefruit coming to the forefront as it warms and breathes. A bit of perfume-like sharpness that finds alcohol mixing in with the hop acidity.
In the mouth it’s rather "sharp" with strong bitterness and quite a dull, stewed-hop character that adds astringent, woody, peppery notes, dry nectarine, unripe grapefruit and dull, almost husky grain notes with sweaty, catty hops on the end. Very lacking in the mouthfeel department; it primarily lacks the softness and malt/wheat suppleness of the top tier NE IPAs. Carbonation is engaging, alcohol is lightly problematic.
