It’s a new year, but we’re all about perfecting that pyramid dry-hop technique we rave on about so readily. Explicitly designed to accentuate the boldest characteristics of each varietal in order of pungency, we’re bringing the pyramid back to the party here on Past Future. Leading the way with a big addition of Mosaic for juicy tangerine sweetness, we’ve added gradually cascading charges of Idaho 7, Simcoe and finally Talus for a four way dance of intense tropical notes a-plenty. Expect to find super ripe stone fruit, pink grapefruit, and just a whisper of pithy bitterness in this all out, amped up banger of a pale ale.

Can. Nose is citrus, vanilla, mineral, hint of mango. Taste is bitter, lemon, grapefruit, lemon zest, leading to a faint mango and slightly acidic finish.

Ok

Polly's Trio Of Tins Night At Home Beer#1 of 3. A dankish hazy golden colour. Sweet-hoppy with its citrus and stone fruit mix and a hint of pine, but a little on the overbearing side coupled with its strength - it feels quite dense going down the palate. Aroma is stone fruity too.

Can picked up from Morrisons, Leominster, Herefordshire and consumed at Jude and Baz's, Spond, Herefordshire listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music Tuesday 3rd March 2026. Poured murky milky yellow in colour with a mid sized white head. There's a little bit of stone fruit, peachy, apricot, a soft mouthfeel, a little bit of a biscuit maltiness, it's good, however not as good as the other beer I had from Polly's a day or two ago. Score 7.1

Can. Morrison’s. 4 for 3 job. Fully hazed up pale gold. Very tidy dense bright white head. It’s a lovely swede tbf. Not too milky on the nose. Well, a bit. Lots of bright hop notes. Citrus peel and pith. Pineapple flesh. Some yellow melon. Taste is pleasantly bitter overall. Even some dryness here. Drinks easy with minimal milky sweetness. Bitter finish. Nice one. Pretty clean hazy.
