It’s been a minute since I’ve seen bottles of this show up on shelves in metro Denver - I managed to snag the last bottle at my local store - headless hazy gold - gotta agree with Eugene on this one - the lacto sourness is way too dominant in this, obliterating what might be the nuances the other yeast strains would provide - lacto and oak is pretty much all I get, with the exception of faint background buggy brett in the finish - not a palate-wrecker, at least, so it definitely lemony and summery and quite quaffable - but, much like America’s current political discourse, I really miss nuance in the sour beers that are being produced today.

I've went out to Glenwood Springs once to pick up a bottle at the liquor store in town (since the brewery is stupid with their times and fees). Really enjoyed this beer then. Now I had more at Snallygaster 2018 and it has just become too sour. That is often the problem with sour breweries, the lose the beer in the sour.

Draft at Snallygaster DC 2018. Poured a hazy yellow-orange color. Mild tartness, little bit of sour notes to it. Slightly refreshing, pleasant, delicate.

Lime and tangerine. A little more tart than I would like but nice still. Orange pour with good head and lacing. Tangy acidic end. Snally

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a clearish gold with a full finger of foam that lingers. Lovely apricot forward nose with some apple and pear in the background, with wild honey as it warms. Lemon zest, apricot flesh, young peach flavors come out on the palate as well. Cracked wheat, with a nice dry and tart character towards the finish. Light pepper and crabapple notes linger.
