Bottle. Amber colour. Aroma is honey, corn, alcohol. Flavour is sweet, honey, corn, alcohol, flower. Full body. OK mead.

Growler, shared by Papsoe. It pours an almost clear, golden colored body, flat as a pancake. Flowery, sweetish and honey-ish nose with some alcohol. Sweet flavor with a good alcohol burn and some flowers. And honey of course. Full-bodied, oily and warming. Lasting finish with alcohol and honey sweetness. A bit heavy on the alcohol, else it’s a very nice one. 090822

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2009. Pours cloudy amber with small bubbles on top. Sweet, strong, perfumy, oily, slick, acetone, vanilla, warm, honey, biting.

Cloudy amber with no head. Aroma of fruit, malt, flowers and bees wax. Sweet and thick honey and alcohol flavour

Hazy amber with a tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with caramel, honey and flowers. Flavour had honey, flowers, and alcohol towards the end. Finished sweet.

Growler. Paint thinner aroma. A bit like sahti, only less yeasty. Hazy orange colour. The flavour is sweet with some rough honey and thinner notes. Rough finish. Too rough for my liking.

Gowler.[ Trade by Papsoe ]. Clear medium to orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is honey, wood, berry notes, alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet with a long duration. Body is full, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20090620]

Bottled@fonefan. Honeyish golden colour, no head. Aroma is very much honey and nectar along with some slight alcoholic notes. Flavour is quite much the same in a nice baalance. Lovely and rather different mead.

Growler. Courtesy of grassrootsvt. Pours a slightly hazy amber with basically no head. Very intense and rather refined honey aroma. Full-bodied with intensely sweet honey accents - almost sherry-like refined. Spicy flower accents as well. Finishes with some alcohol burm. Quite exciting really. 200209
