Bottle at RBESG09 Grand tasting, Sheffield. Cloudy copper. Belgian lambic peach clone. Some lemon. It’s pretty good, but clearly not Belgian. OK, bit too carbonated..

Muddy amber color. Sour aroma and flavor, some fruitness hiding here and there, vinegar aggressiveness. Pleasant but missing some good points.

Bottle @ RBESG Grand tasting 2009. Peach, dust and oak in the aroma. Sweet flavor with peach. Some citric sourness. Delicious!

RBESG Sheffield 2009 Grand Tasting at the Harlequin. Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of sourness, bit of peach, other stonefruits coming through, sweetness. Flavour is light sour, bit of peach, yeasty spiciness, light sour finish. Medium to fullbodied. Excellent balance, really nice stuff. I don’t like peach or really sour beers, but this was one tasty brew!

Bottle 75cl. @ Papsoes blindtasting. [ Bottle #37. ]Unclear medium orange color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate fresh fruity, apricots, peach, tart, brett. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, moderate acidic and hoppy bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090612]

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroam is sweet malty combined with an acidic note, as well as fruits and a light touch of acetone. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of fruit as well as light notes of acetone, leading to a tart finish.

From bottle, blind #37. Pours cloudy orange with a collapsing white head. Dry and wheaty to light estery aroma. Acidic, mild fruity and slight fruity base flavoured. Orange fruity, mild acidic and light hoppy bitter flavoured. Acidic and dry finish.

Pour was a murkey brown with a small white head. Aroma is sweet with some fruit and malt. Flavor is much better, almost like a sour ale. I got more of a cherry than peach but it does have a lot of oak and a strong tartness. Finish is dry and vinegar. The 12% was no problem but you probably can’t have to much of this in one sitting.
