Our organic IPA uses Tomahawk, Cascade, and Centennial hops for a rustic, rough-hewn hop character that pairs great with food or relaxing among friends. Prominent citrus and pine aromas and bitterness that is not over the top balances this medium bodied copper-colored brew.

Hazy golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is mildly hoppy with some malt behind it. Light to medium body with a metallic character and notes of piney hops and grain. The finish is moderately bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Barely average overall.

Bottle: Poured a coppery toilet brown color with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit and hops. Taste was gritty metal and hops.

Tap. Pours hazy orange with a large white head and decent lacing. Aroma is pine, grass and caramel. Flavor is pine, bread, metallic notes with a light bitter metallic finish. Not a good example of the style; muddled and unbalanced.

Total Wine, Chantilly 12oz ($2): Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is light citrus hops and plenty of malts. I found this to be a bland and somewhat unbalanced IPA. Beers like this are utterly forgettable to me. It’s organic... so... yeah.

0.33L bottle, crystal clear darkish orange colour, florall aroma with some skunk and pine, soapy flavour with some grapefruit, some malty sweetness and a coarse unrefined bitterness, sickly sour bitter aftertaste. Not one of the better IPA’s around.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear golden with a medium white head. Hoppy aroma of citrus fruits, flowers and a grainy hint. Flavor starts with some sweetness and bready hints and continues to a bitter grapefruity hops finish. Medium-bodied. A tasty and rather balanced IPA.

From the beer of the month club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden-amber color with a medium sized creamy beige head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was bitter with moderate grapefruit, light pine and light pineapple. The flavor was dryish and nutty with a moderately strong grapefruit presence and light notes of pine and sour caramel. The finish was long and bitter with lingering grapefruit. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

On draft in a pint glass. Pale orange with a off-white, creamy head. Nice hop aroma with malt backbone. Well-structured. Hops dominate the palate. This is a massively hopped beer with only hint of malt. The hops are mostly bittering, seemingly losing the floral charcter of the nose.

Bottle: Light haze in a pale golden pour with a monster white head. So much lacing it practically covers the entire glass. Aromatic, but more like potpurri than an ale. Bright and spicey florals and sweet caramel maltiness. Nice flavor profile of sweet caramel, lively florals, and mild citrus. More flavor than most organic ipa’s. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit, light pine, and light caramel flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit, pine, and a light earthiness lingers.
