Bottle. Dark brown, with a small, light tan head. Aroma is a chocolate, mocha, burnt grains. Taste is a bitter chocolate with undertones of coffee.

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is not a huge chocolate but I am getting a large cinnamon. Flavor is again a very minor bitter chocolate with some ashy malt. This was a bit too thin and not enough chocolate stood out.

12oz bottle pours a muddy dark cola brown with some spitty, brown head. Nose has toast, roasted grains, some chocolate, cakey. Flavor is heavy with the roast and toast, cocoa powder. Dry finish.

Some sharp bitter chocolate with a hint of roast. OK head and lacing. Black pour. Light bitter finish. Palate is pretty straight forward here, not a lot of complexity. Bottle.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is subtle, with notes of dry bitter cocoa and light roastiness. Flavour is along the same lines, featuring a dry palate of bitter dry cocoa and medium roasted malt. Pretty gentle and smooth -- could use a thicker mouthfeel and a rounder flavour profile, but for a "smaller" stout, this is quite nice.

Toasted malt nose. Cola brown, headless. Walnut and cardboard flavor. Unftunately the latter is dominant and lingers. Body is medium to ligt, moderte carbonation.
