12 oz. bottle. Typical color with thin white fizzy head. The nose is rich with deep roasted malts. Flavor is nearly as good, solid amount of milk chocolate, bakers chocolate and hints of charred ash. The body could use a bit more fullness. The charred ash has a chalky type of texture. Honestly this stout meet my expectations, nothing complex but no problems and really easy to drink for any stout lover. I only marked it down a tad because of the weak body, flavor is still here.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a small foamy dark tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dry and roasty with faint notes of coffee, chocolate and floral hops. The flavor was dry, roasty and bitter with a bit of coffee and floral hops but no chocolate. Medium length finish and medium body. Disappointing.

12 oz bottle. Thanks, Brenn79. Inky black pour with a medium dissipating tan lacy head. Aroma is roasty coffee--not picking up the cocoa. Taste is nice and roasty. Again, the chocolate is negligible. Creamy, chalky mouthfeel. Pretty good, but they should have amped up the chocolate if they’re going to call it a chocolate stout.

Bottle. Pours with a near black body with a lasting tan head. Aromas of raw cocoa nubs, vanilla. Bready and biscuity malt background with light roast, minimal hop notes and mild esters. A hint of an odd canned black olive aroma as it warmed. Flavors are nutty, roasty, fudge. Bready and biscuity and a bit earthy (as well as some dusty cocoa). Light hints of dark fruits (dried raisins mostly) and molasses character. Unsweetened cocoa and cola. Medium bubbles with just a slightly fuller body.

Bottle. Soapy malt aroma, a little lactose and chocolate. Black brown with a thin, quickly dissipating tan head. Bitter chocolate, roasted malt., ashy, acidic flavor. I thought it was a little on the light bodied side for a stout, and the mouthfeel was rather acidic. Not one I’ll drink again, as there are much better options avialable.
