500ml bottle from Bochka in Moscow. Pours cloudy orange-brown with a big beige head. Aroma of wheat, caramel, bread, banana and spices. Taste of caramel, wheat, banana and cloves. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Was expecting an above average beer, but this was actually really tasty.

Cloudy amber, thick creamy head. Excellent retention. Nose of banana, caramel, toffee, yeast, fruit. Light to medium body. Oily texture. Bittersweet flavour with notes of roast, wheat, spice, fruit (pear). Quite complex. Notable hoppy bitterness in finish. Really nice one.

0,5 l bottle new label art design, now called Dunkles Weizen. Murky dark orange in the glass, big white head. Chewing gum and lower clove on the nose. Starts light sweet sourish, yeast, wheat, I think cherries (!) and apples. Later dry yeasty, citrus and flat ending.

(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut-brown colour with a fluffy but non-persistent tanned frothy head. Moderately sweet and slightly sour fruity and wheat-malty aroma with notes of banana, a tinge of caramel and phenolic spices. Slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Good wheat-character with light toasty notes, banana and cloves; slightly acidic wheaty and fruity finish. 07.X.09
