Small white head, slowly retreating over metallic, darker golden beer, clear. Bit toasted nose, quite grassy, also breakfast cereals, gassy. Dry-bitterish initial flavour, with some hops, followed by crisp sweetish malts, if ending metallic bitter. Quite slick, good carbonation. Classic indeed - pity about the very finish.

Jacobinus Classic Pils, Flasche von Ratio, Baunatal. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase leicht strohiges helles Malz und milde, etwas angestrengte krautig-hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Antrunk sortentypisch schlank und erfrischend aber mild hopfenherb. Daß die Hopfenaromen eher blaß und der Malzkörper recht dünn sind, zeigt sich erst beim Nachschmecken - nicht ohne Grund empfiehlt das Etikett eine Trinktemperatur von nur 6°, bei der aromatische Schwächen in der Kälte verborgen bleiben. Gut rezent. Im Abgang mäßige, etwas leere Bittere. - Gewiß kein Renner aber doch ein trinkbares, sogar angenehmes Pilsner, jedenfalls besser als das grauslige Eschweger Klosterbräu Pils derselben Brauerei. Bottle. Gold with a white head that's soon a cm. Nice cracker and biscuit aroma matched with less convincing notes - some cardboard with the floral and spices. Lightish bodied and clean with crackery malt, the slightest touch of richness and firm, spicy bitterness. Finish makes up for the cheapish aroma. OK.

Bottle from Keller Meister, Lincoln. Golden colour with a big white head. Sweet corn aroma with fruit. Taste light sweet.

Das Bier hat eine klare goldene Farbe und eine große feinporige weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch ist würzig hopfig, sehr malzig. Geschmack floral hopfig, würzig malzig, dezent bitter.

500ml bottle from the office across the road (Moscow). Pours pale yellow. some lacing. Grassy aroma. Flavour is malty, grassy.

Thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle. Dark golden in the glass, grainy smooth nose. The beer starts smooth and crisp. Dry and easy to drink with a malty and slightly bitter body. The aftertaste is long, deep-malty and nice bitter.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks! A little bit too much old school commercial phrases on the label. Pours clear golden, big white head. A little bit hay and malt on the nose. Starts sour bitter, hay and hints of burned malt. Followed by a grassy hop herb. Light honey in the background. Though thin body. Unbalanced and not easy do drink in my opinion.
