Bottle. Pours inky black with a small beige head, and some lacing. Aroma is chocolate covered raspberries, hints of roast, vanilla. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, raspberries. Medium body, lingering chocolate and berry. I generally don't like fruited stouts, but this one works pretty well.

Nice brown fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly rich sour-ish, dried sour raspberries, licorice, dark malts, dark sugar, minerals, oak, grass, bourbon, hay, chocolate. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, dark malts, minerals, berry skin, weeds, cocoa, hay, sour raspberries, grass, oak, old rope, toast, bourbon. Medium bitterness, slightly "watery" and dry mineraly mouthfeel. Nice.

Draught @ MBCC 2017. Pours pitch black with a small head. Aroma of raspberries, dark chocolate, roastiness, earthiness and coffee. Taste is sweetish, heavy with raspberries, coffee and chocolate notes. Finish has some roastiness, chocolate, coffee, raspberries and earthy notes. Loads of raspberries here.

(On tap @ CBC 2016 Yellow Session, Copenhagen) Pours pitch black with a medium tan head. Aroma of semisweet chocolate, chocolate milk powder, raspberry, coffee, a bit of vanilla, a touch of toffee sweetness, quite nice. Palate quite dry and balanced for style, slightly powdery roast, instant coffee powder, coffee grinds, chocolate, semisweet toffee, some dark fruit, raspberry flesh underneath pinning everything down. Semi-ashy, bitter, roasted finish, medium bodied, low carbonation. Quite good balance overall, for a raspberry imp stout it was neither cloyingly sweet nor unbearably tart and fruity. Very high drinkability, Westbrook on their stout game as usual.
