By now, it's no surprise that we love making beer with Charlie Van Meter and Allegory Brewing out of McMinnville, OR. This round, we return to one of the first beers we brewed with them way back in 2017. We took the rather robust ‘Merican Grits and scaled it down into a crushable homage to one of our favorite German pilsners (but with a ‘Merican bent: a whole bunch of corn grits in the mash). Light, crisp, and just bitter enough with plenty of aromatic hops. Prost!

16 ounce can. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. A light pils malt nose. Sweet, big pils malt, some soft perfume. Light, clean, flavorful. Finishes with light lemon. Solid.
