Green bottle, 330 ml, gift from Steve Gamble, Molson had decided to import this beer - the project was so advanced that the beer made it across the Atlantic ocean but Molson has decided to not put it on the market (this explains why you found “Imported by Moldson Canada” on the back sticker, savoured on February 19 2009; eye: golden, extra clear, good effervescence, white head made up of rather large bubbles and eventually turns into a tiny ring, no lacing; nose: metallic, grain, light yeast, slight champagne; mouth: thin, slight malt, slight champagne, tiny layer of caramel, finale is slightly grainy with presence of champagne, rather carbonated, thin body; overall: happy to have tried it FRANÇAIS Bouteille verte, 330 ml, cadeau de Steve Gamble, Molson avait décidé d’importer cette bière - le projet était tellement avancé qu’effectivement les bières ont traversé l’Atlantique mais Molson a décidé de ne pas la mettre sur le marché (ce qui explique qu’on y retrouve la mention « Importée pour Molson Canada » sur l’étiquette arrière, savourée le 19 février 2009; œil : dorée, extra claire, bonne effervescence, mousse blanche formée de bulles plutôt grosses et qui éventuellement devient un petit anneau, pas de dentelle; nez : métallique, grain, léger levure, très léger champagne; bouche : mince, très léger malt, très léger champagne, petit filet de caramel, finale légèrement granuleuse avec présence de champagne, plutôt carbonatée, corps léger; en résumé : content de l’avoir essayé

330 ml. bottle from the Utobeer stall in Borough Market. BB 30 Nov 08. Rather yeasty and vinous aromas. Gold color with some white head. It is rather grapey. Noble hop spice. Has a dry finish suggesting champagne in some ways. Very interesting.

bottle, bought in England. Fruity and yeasty, fruity sourness. The yeast is quite interesting. Well-balanced brew.

Bottle from Waitrose: Deep straw colour with short lived white head, then almost flat. Faint grainy aroma, sweet and prickly in the mouth with a short dry finish.

Bottle picked up in Waitrose, Witney, 10th July 2006 . Very pale yellow, bit too sweet and usual lagery taste, not quite the reaction the makers would have hoped for I expect. A5 A3 A5 P2 Ov9 2.4 Had this again at Browns, Windsor, Berkshire 08-08-09 on leg seven of the Thames Tipple Pours straw-lemony colour with a few stray bubbles around rim. Soft in the mouth, clean tasting but a touch metallic, bit dry its just ok A5 A3 F5 P2 Ov9 2.4

33cl bottle from Waitrose. For a pale gold premium lager, this was good. OK it won’t set the world alight, but then again it didn’t make me want to throw up either. Lemoney citrus with a bit of yeast and then creamy in mouth with nice lemon curd finish with a bit of metallic hop bite on the end. I thought that it was fun.
