A glorious nasal feast of floral hops with a tantalising hint of citrus, rounding off into a refreshingly long dry finish. Wonderful with spicy food.

Bottle. A gift from Totnes. The person not the place. Misted pale gold. Voluminous swede settles to a thin lasting job. Bit of a buggy twang here. Also pale dry malt and some light lemony peachy hop. Taste is fairly dry and light bitter. Light body with high carbonation (definitely a bit buggy). Light dry light bitter finish. Wonky but decent enough. Refreshing if nowt else

12th June 2015: bottle conditioned 500ml into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home with a roast chicken diner. Slight haze to the light golden body, even though I thought I had left any sediment in the bottle. On top a snow white head that lasted a while and gave off a bit of lacing. Hop nose with mild floral esters if you sniff hard enough. The taste is a happy blend with the hops just about winning the battle for power. suited my meal: mini bitterness from the hops but overall a well balanced, delicately flavoured blonde. Better than OK, but below great, subtle rather than ’in your face’.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden lemon with a thin head and gentle carbonation. Nose - honey, lemon and malty backdrop. Taste - lemon barley water, bit of lemon pith at the end. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry finish. Overall - solid but not inspiring.
