Cask special - Brewed for the JD Wetherspoon beer festival April 2009.
This dark ale has a smooth, roasted malt flavour and silky mouthfeel, courtesy of the oatmeal used. The sly nightshade berry is a native Australian bush tomato which imparts muscaty raisin-like notes and a savoury finish to this unique beer.
Hops used: Fuggles, North down

Cask at standing order ... Dark brown black ... thin off white head ... odd roast malt nose ... smokey roast malts ... quite a lot of chocolate ... deep berry fruits ... little rasisins ... light long bitter linger.
