A tribute to one of Europe’s most classic brews, Vienna Lager is a bottom-fermented amber colored beer with a clean, mild taste. Delicate hopping leaves ample room for stylish notes of caramel and a slightly roasted aroma thanks to the use of the homonym roasted malts. Although not light on the alcohol side, it’s an easy beer to drink.

Bottiglia. Al naso l'aroma rimanda al fruttato. La finezza olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella norma. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul tetto della bocca si depositano indizi di caramello, miele, pane tostato, un accenno di resinoso, erbaceo, agrumi, spezie e frutta secca.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and a rough, off-white head. Sweet crystal malt aroma. Medium body, sweet caramel but maybe not quite as sweet as the aroma suggested. Little bitterness. 121222

Tap. Clear deep amber color with white head. Aroma is bready, earthy, mild caramel. Taste is toffee, earthy, a bit herbal, mild bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, almost a bit too light-bodied perhaps, natural carbonation. Alright.

Quite heavy and dense, considering the ABV. Lots of caramellyness, malty, and a bit sweet. Tasty enough, but also pretty boring and one-dimensional, whilst just not being crisp and refreshing enough to keep drinking. Pretty decent.

Borefts XII. Day 1. Almost clear amber beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, a little dry. Ripe fruits. Modest pine. Dry finish. A clean but somewhat dull fruity lager.

On tap at Borefts 2022. Clear dark amber colour beige head. Good vienna malts. really well done. tastes exactly as it should. clean. hoppy bite finish. Good.
