An Anglo-style beer of amber hue, featuring the distinctive fruity, resinous aroma typical of the North-American hops varieties used during the various boiling stages as well as in dry-hopping. Its strong bitter flavor, balanced by a slightly malted body, doesn’t betray its crisp, fresh taste to the palate.

Bottle from Steengaard, Beder. Clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - citrus and pine. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 230122

Bière pression bue au Dtp a Alghero. Robe dorée, tirant sur l'ambré, belle mousse dense. Bouche à l’attaque vive, un peu acidulée, de l’amertume, une belle envolée houblonnée. Très réussie ! (M)

Fra fat på Il Locale på Åboulevard, aug-18: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Solid og samtidig elegant inntrykk av amerikanske humler - furunål, grapefrukt, tropiske frukter og ananas. Karamelleriet bærer det hele uanstrengt fremover. Gode greier her på fortauet denne varme augustkvelden, selv om humlesuset ikke kan hamle opp med trafikkstøyen.

On tap at HaandFest. A golden colored beer, clear, with a nice off-white head. Pine cones and orange dominates the aroma, with some floral notes and a touch of pale malts. It's full-bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated, neither sweet nor dry. Nice bitterness, along with pine cones, orange and that same floral touch found on the nose. Pale malts in the back. Lasting piney finish. A bit boring at first this one, but after some sips it feels very nice. 170527

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours transparent deep gold with medium-high white foam, medium-grain. Aroma is not great for my taste, remembering medicine, probably because of aromatic hops giving terrain feelings. Body is average with good carbonation. Taste is markedly bitter, with some initial sweetness. Finish had some persistent bitterness.
