This cider, made from the juice of many traditional cider-apple varieties, has been fully fermented to dryness and matured in oak vats to develope a full-bodied fruity character. Strong but very dry, it has a lightness of touch matched by few other drinks.

500ml bottle from Coed Y Dinas, Welshpool. Very disappointing, so thin and dry it seems to evaporate as soon as it enters your mouth. Not too much else going on, kind of tasteless. Surprising Westons put their name to this.

Dobry i wytrawny cydr, z gozkimi nutami w tle. Cierpki smak jablek jest bardzo ok. Na lato wspaniale gasi pragnienie. Kolor zolto jasny z jablkowyo gozkim finiszem.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Import by Shelton. The word "Strong" is omitted from the banner. Rounded pint glass. Light, fizzy head, constant sparkle. Filtered, pale but glaring, bright yellow body. Watered down wine, green leaves, crab apples, touch of sulfur. Completely fermented out cidery apple wine is what I’m thinking. Non-descript apples. Watery texture. Upfront acid. Crisp carbonation. Yeast. Alcohol is just a hindrance with so little flavor. Finish has a great subtle oaky sweetness. Bit of vanilla & skin long after it’s gone. Sort of like Woodchuck if it was aged in actual wood & not with Lysol-dipped wood chips. Barely okay. Why did they bother importing this?

50cl bottle from kihoskh clear light yellow, small white head. aroma of flowers, white wine, apple, perfume, rather mild, but many notes. flavor is woody, faint leather, very dry apple cider, one of the driest i’ve tasted. also strong notes of oak. It would’ve suited it very well if it was a little more citrussy. a little champaigne like in the dryness.

Bottle (Oak Conditioned Extra Dry 6.0%). Pours with a very pale golden body with nearly no head. Aromas of grass, plastic, oak, straw and sulfur. Flavor is sweet with noticeable aged balsamic, and oak. A vegital flavor that I cannot place. Sweet and bland. Not a good cider sadly. Lively bubbles with a watery body.
