On tap @ brewery. Pours classic clear copper with nice off white head. It has a light sweet malt aroma. There is an even maltiness in the flavor that balances the dry roasted malts with sweet caramelized malts. They serve these brews too cold making it tough to pick out much more in the flavor. There was a faint hoppiness there somewhere but really tough to describe.

Bottle: Poured a hazy orange amber with thick creamy off white head. Sour hoppy malt aroma. Bitter metallic spice malt with a hoppy dry finish.

Bottle from santa - the bottle poured 50% foam - cloudy copper with lots of suspended particles - aroma of crystal malt, bread yeast, damp/earthiness - very subdued malts in this one, making it a bit thin on the palate - light biscuit/bread and some herbs - not a lot going on - pretty watery throughout, especially the finish.

(On tap) Clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white cappuchinoish head. Malty, lightly roasted nose. Medium-bodied with some roasted malt, some caramel and an underlying sweetness. Dry, lightly hoppy finish. 040406

Hazy golden ale with a thick overflowing big bubbled off white head. Light herbal aroma, difficult to catch through the humongous foam. In mouth, crisp malt, lightly nutty, with decent hops. Very decent shape for 1 yr old beer.

Thanks to Envane for sending this my way!! Beautiful amber color with a thick off white head. Well balanced aroma of malt and hops is repeated again in the flavor profile. Very smooth creamy mouthfeel delivers a beer that is nicely malty at the start and wonderfully bitter in the finish. Nicely crafted Amber Ale.

Copper colour with red highlights and a very thick dense off-white head. The aroma is definately reminiscent of tea and hops. Light-bodied; Iniital flavours of tea and a bit of hops and finishing with more of a malt background and a bit of sugar. Fairly watery...not my favourite style in the first place...but this one wasn't too great. No depth to the beer...whatever is had at first is all that is noticed. Not really reccomended, but if you are in Florida...maybe you don't have too many options on Reds. I got this one pint bottle from Matt A. (Mabdoney) in Florida. Thanks again!
