Bottle, 22oz. Courtesy of Meilby. A very dark reddish brown beer with a small beige head leaving lacing. Lots of cocoa on the nose, with cinnamon, tonka it seems, chocolate, dark sugar and vanilla. It's full-bodied, lightly warming, smooth and with a very pleasant spice use. Vanilla, cinnamon, dark sugar, chocolate and caramel in the flavor. Quite sweet, but in a nice way. Everlasting finish. A very pleasant one, even though it's too sweet. 180127

Pours deep reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, cocoa, dried fruits, chocolate, cinnamon, tonga beans, molasses, maple syrup, vanilla and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, cocoa, chocolate, caramel, dried fruity, cinnamon, molasses and vanilla finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Taste comprises pecan pie, coconut shavings, toffee fidge, light spice, mellow fruit cake, molasses, sticky toffee pudding. Full bodied, fine carboantion, warming boost in a sweet close.
