aroma : eggy, sweet notes (corn?), also a slight sour thing in there. can also smell a little alc. clear yellow, large thick head, which soon becomes a small ordinary head. flavor is rather nice, but a lot of alc in this pilsener type. Alc is not used well, it’s too dominant. imagine taking a relatvely okay pilsener and add 2cl vodka and you’ve got it. I’m danish, and i’m not proud of this.. apart from the alc, the flavor is good. sweet/sour balanced, with what might be green grapes, and slight bitterness to end it off.

33 cL bottle pours golden yellow with white head. Sweet grainy aroma. Swet flavour with an alcohol presence in the flavour. Slight bubblegum and alcohol warming in a finish with a minimal bitterness. Terrible name for a beer, not good at all.

Bottled. Pale golden with a small white head. Aroma starts with alcohol, then some hops and hay comes through. It has a malty sweetness in the flavor, in addition to some hops and hay. The alcohol and bitterness continues in the finish. A typical Danish strong lager, but maybe a bit sweeter than the average. (060518)

Bottle. Can a pale lager have 8,0 ABV? Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Loght malty and hoppy aroma. Nice flavor but too strong alcoholic. Oily palate and soft carbonated.

(Bottle 33 cl) Vestfyen promises a lot with a name like "Danish Pride". Pilsener golden, very limited head. Has the typical soft, low carbonated touch that is so typical of Vestfyen. Strong alcohol flavour - only a glimpse of hops. Sweetish, but no worse than other super strong lagers. 220100
