Bottle, 4.8%. Fruity and nicely malty aroma. Cloudy brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is malty at first, but turns a bit watery. There is some caramel getting close to butterscotch. Low bitterness. Slightly strange roasted finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr/Ungstrup. Hazy amber golden with a tall, dense, off-white head leaving some lacework. Lightly sweet, fruity nose. Light body, sweet roasted malt and dried fruit. Ends dry with a subdued bitterness - or sweetness for that matter. Hardly a Dubbel at 4.8% alcohol, but a pleasant drink. 040409

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a light tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts and caramel, while the body is thin, leading to a dry nutty finish. Not much Abbey Dubbel in this beer, lacks strength and complexity.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a slowly collapsing off-white head. Roasted malt aroma, light spiced and yeasty. Mild roasted malt flavoured, subdued sweetness and vague alcohol presence. Roasted malt flavoured and lasting impression.
