500ml bottle. Dark brown, almost black with a dense brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, liquorices and hops. Flavor is Bittersweet, burnt, fruity, malty. Quite balanced. Somehow a bit plain but very tasteful.

Bottle. It pours a black body under a tan, finger-thick head. Dry coffeish nose, roasted, but with a little milky touch, indicating that it’s no better than the other beers I’ve had from Krenkerup. Dry, coffeeish, roasted flavorwith dried fruits and a little sourness. Dry, medium body. The finish is roasted, with dried fruits. Quite decent, even though it seems to be slightly off, guess the dark flavors and aromas hides the problems at this stage. (090522)

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a collapsing dark brown head. The aroma is sweet malt combined with notes of roasted malt and light notes of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of roasted malt, leading to a dry and very hard roasted finish. Thanks MiP for sharing.
