Cask gravity at the Barrel Drop, Nottingham, Friday 21st April 2017 in the company of Dad and Pauline, weโ€™re off to the Ferocious Dog gig at the Rescue Rooms. Warm gold in colour with a thin white rim of bubbles, a touch of caramel, bitterness, I get some brown sauce on the nose, itโ€™s a strange one, mid bitterness, ok. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Slightly murky gold. Film, and dense ring, of white head. Nose has plenty of herbal, floral hop. Notes of something like rose petal. Some lemon lip balm maybe. Itโ€™s fairly unusual overall. Taste has some floral sweetness, before getting soft, resinous bitter. Smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Light, lingering bitter finish.
