A European style lager brewed from the finest quality pilsner malts. This beer is fermented at a lower temperature than most Australian lagers, and employs an extended maturation period. These combine together with a mixture of kettle and late hopping to yield a crisp pale lager.

375ml bottle. Clear, orange, dark golden colour with small to average, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Minimally earthy, grainy-bready, pale malty and minimally soapy, hoppy aroma, a touch of spelt and grey bread. Taste is moderately bitter, grassy, minimally mineral and soapy hoppy, minimally strawy, pale malty basis with some residual sweetness, a touch of cereals and honey.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Very clean, good mouthfeel, drinkable - absolutely OK for what it is.

Bottled. Your standard south of the’quator international pale, had one had them all. No exceptions here.

360ml.can at 4.8£, bought at Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Aroma has a light citrus bite, malts. Somewhat metallic edge. Clear copper gold. Foamy white head thins out. Sweet. For some reason I wasn't expecting that. Sugary. Caramel. Fruiy. Slightly metallic and citrus edge. Light. Thin to slick. Flat-soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable for whst it is.

Old rating from Dec 2014 - 330ml bottle found in a UK supermarket, reminds me of my Tasmania trip. Pours dark golden with white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of earth, grain, grass & hops. Medium body. Moderate clean & crisp hoppy finish. Enjoyable

330ml bottle at 4.6%. Clear gold, with nice consistant tight white top. Malty aroma with touch of grass and citrus noted hops. Taste is grassy, pale malts, light citrus tang, finish is a bit paper bland and lacks more of a bitter bite. Nonetheless its good for a macro lager.
